ADC_logoThe American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is a civil rights organization committed to defending the rights of people of Arab descent and promoting their rich cultural heritage.  ADC was founded by former U.S. Senator James Abourezk in 1980.  Today, ADC is the largest Arab American grassroots organization in the U.S.


The Arab American Institute (AAI) is a nonprofit organization committed to the civic and political empowerment of Americans of Arab descent.  AAI represents the policy and community interests of Arab Americans throughout the U.S. through two primary focus areas:  campaigns and elections, and policy formulation and research.

NAAP_logoThe Network of Arab American Professionals (NAAP) is a non-partisan, volunteer-based organization dedicated to strengthening the Arab-American community.  The organization’s mission is both comprehensive and inclusive, empowering the community through social, cultural, professional and political initiatives.

Arab_America_logoArab America is a national website founded with the purpose of promoting an accurate image about the Arab American community and the Arab world.  Arab America’s primary goal is to become a “bridge” bringing together the diverse Arab American community.  Secondly, Arab America is an educational resource site for all Americans.  Arab America serves five markets: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Washington DC.

AANM_logoThe Arab American National Museum is the first and only museum in the United States devoted to Arab American history and culture.  The Museum documents, preserves and presents the history, culture and contributions of Arab Americans, and brings to light the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation.

NNAC_logoThe National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC) is a national consortium of independent Arab American community-based organizations. The Network’s primary mission is the development of Arab American community-based nonprofit organizations that understand and meet the needs and represent the concerns of Arab Americans at the local level and collectively address these issues on the national level.

Alwan_LogoAlwan serves its community and educates the broader public by showcasing a range of Middle Eastern cultural events, enriching the cross-cultural and artistic encounter. Alwan is a creative space, presenting traditional culture with a contemporary flare, and commissioning new works that investigate cultural identity. We provide artists, filmmakers, writers, organizers, and activists a forum for their creative projects, and actively promote cross-cultural collaboration. Alwan casts a critical eye on current events and trends in arts and culture related to the Middle East and the Middle Eastern diaspora. Alwan engages the New York arts scene by challenging its assumptions about the Middle East. We aim to build a community around the arts that encourages participation and discussion from all its members.

ArtEast_LogoArteEast presents the works of contemporary artists from the Middle East, North Africa and their diasporas to a wide audience in order to foster a more complex understanding of the regions’ arts and cultures and to encourage artistic excellence. Through public events, exhibitions, film screenings, a dynamic virtual gallery and a resource-rich website, ArteEast supports artists and filmmakers by providing the platforms necessary for them to showcase groundbreaking and significant work. We also give the public the opportunity to learn more about and develop an appreciation for the talent of these established and emerging artists.

Radius of Arab American WritersRadius of Arab American Writers (RAWI) is a not-for-profit literary organization dedicated to supporting and disseminating creative writing and scholarly writing by Arab-Americans.

Al-Bustan Seed of Culture Al-Bustan Seed of Culture is a Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to presenting and teaching the Arabic language, arts, and culture.
